Hearing Of References Against Sharif Family In NAB Court
Hearing of NAB references against Sharif family is underway in accountability court Islamabad as former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and captain retired Safdar appear before court.
Accountability judge Mohammad Bashir is hearing the reference filed by National Accountability Bureau against Sharif family.
Four more prosecution witnesses have been summoned today to record their statements.
During last hearing, the accountability court Islamabad had given exemption to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz from appearing in person before the court.
Accountability judge Mohammad Bashir had given Nawaz Sharif a week's exemption starting from 20th November while granting a month's exemption to Maryam Nawaz.
Their representatives will appear on their behalf during their absence.
Two prosecution witnesses, Sidra Mansoor from security and exchange commission and Jahanzeb Ahmed from federal board of revenue, recorded their statements and cross examined by defense counsel Khawaja Harris.
Sidra Mansoor submitted record of Hudaibya paper mills before the judge.
