COAS Attends Funeral Prayers Of Martyred Soldiers
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reiterated the resolve to continue fight against Terrorism till achievement of enduring peace and stability.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief expressed these views during his visit to Quetta where he arrived to take part in the Funeral Prayers of Soldiers Martyred in Yesterday's Blast.
The Army Chief stressed the need to create synergy in efforts of all State Institutions to defeat terrorism in totality.
He said, Pakistani Nation shall celebrate Independence Day to Honour sacrifices of all martyrs who have laid their lives for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
The Army Chief attended Namaz-e-Janaza of Soldiers who embraced Shahadat in Blast last Night. Governor Balochistan, Chief Minister Balochistan, Interior Minister, Commander Southern Command and other Civil and Military Officials attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.
COAS also visited injured of Blast at Combined Military Hospital in Quetta Cantt.
Later, COAS was briefed about the incident at Headquarters of Southern Command.
