3 Dead, 25 Hurt In Bajaur Agency Bomb Blast

At least three people were killed and 25 injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast which hit the town of Nawagai in Bajaur agency.

Political Administration said the blast occurred in a truck at roadside in Chahrmang area of Nawagai.

The injured were taken to agency headquarter hospital. Seven of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Arrangements were also being made to shift the critically injured to hospitals in Peshawar via helicopter.

The casualties are all said to be locals of the area. Bodies of the deceased were sent to their native towns.

Security Forces cordoned off the site of the blast and started a search operation.
