Talansky Wins Stage 5, Majka Retains Overall Lead

American Andrew Talansky narrowly outsprinted polish overall leader Rafal Majka to the finish line to win the fifth sate of tour of California cycle race.

Andrew Talansky covered the 125.5 kilometer distance in 3 hours, 43 minutes, and 15 seconds to claim his first tour of California stage win.

Majka's second place stage finish kept him in the overall lead by just six seconds over New Zealander George Bennett, who crossed the finish line in third place.

American team sky rider Ian Boswell sits in third place overall, another 19 seconds back of Bennett.

Rafal Majka is leading the overall race with the total time of 19 hours 47 minutes and 57 seconds.
