Hong Kong China Stocks Noon.

Hong Kong stocks rose by lunch on today after the government announced it had approved a scheme to link trading on China's second exchange in Shenzhen with the Hong Kong market.

The Hang Seng index added 0.23 percent to 22,963.51 points, while the Shenzhen composite index rose 0.26 percent to 2,042.09 points on the news.

The benchmark shanghai composite index fell 0.19 percent to 3,104.09 points.
